MEET Rutabaga! If you've ever wanted to feel like you're in the jungle, listening to the sounds of the wildlife all day long, this is the bird for you! This handsome fellow loves to sing you the song of his people all day, every day. He is not fond of handling, but loves to be admired alongside his cagemates. To bring home a bird, please have a photo of your enclosure you plan to keep them in already set up, minimum cage requirements for a single canary are at least a 2 x 2 x 2 foot cage with perches, toys, and food/water bowls. Rutabaga has been seen by our vet team. For more information on Rutabaga or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
