NOVEMBER 2021 UPDATE: Regalia is all grown up & a very intense manbird. He was married to a small, timid pigeon for a time but was too domineering with her & is now single. Will be interesting to see who he is when he marries again. He may be the same or quite different. Time will tell.
Regalia is all white with a little (at the moment) pink bottom, named Regalia because of her marina rescue, she is constantly trying to figure these humans out. She is sweet with a stop it-some more attitude. She is a favorite of her foster mom. She had a small preening injury from a flock mate and is working through it like a champ with no foreseeable complications. Regalia & friends' rescue is a cautionary tale of an inhumane release done by a well meaning person. They were raised for squab, bought from a butcher and released, they were unable to feed themselves, drink or know that they could fly.
