Big King pigeon Rashad was found helpless in Oakland, lucky enough to be rescued & taken to Oakland Animal Shelter. He was able to walk & fly upon arrival but after a couple of months, one of his legs went wonky (he can't stand or walk) & he was transferred into Palomacy so that he could get the avian vet care & supportive fostering. His radiographs don't show any problems with his bones so we're hopeful that his soft tissue trauma soreness will heal up. We don't really know who Rashad is yet & look forward to finding out who they become as they recover.
