My Story

Who you callin’ a pinhead? This refreshed girl was named “pinhead” for the quill-like pin feathers that were growing back as she was rescued during a hard molt. Hard molts occur when a bird will lose almost all their feathers in a particular area. It actually takes a pretty large toll on their energy levels, and so she had a lucky strike being found at a time when she needed the most rest. However in its wake lies a stunning new plumage of silky, iridescent feathers that will go on to protect her the same way that our skin protects us. Bowl a perfect strike by fostering or adopting sweet Pinhead!
