Norman is a beautiful, male silkie chicken. He was found on the side of the road by someone, and brought to IndyCLAW.
He currently lives with 14 Pekin ducks, and he loves being with them. The ducks are available for adoption too, if someone is interested!
Norman does need a safe, enclosed enclosure to keep him safe from predators and weather. Silkies are very sensitive to extreme temps, so adopter needs to have an indoor/temp controlled option for housing when needed. He does love roaming around the yard and eating grass when supervised.
Norman’s adoption fee can be agreed upon meeting the right adopter. A home visit is done by IndyCLAW to ensure he goes to a loving home.
