Meet Mulligan, a cockatiel who has proved that big things come in small packages. Around 12-13 years old, Mulligan is a friendly, confident little guy who partakes in the simple joys of life, such as staring down at his foster family from the top of door frames and tossing healthy food out of his bowl. Although friendly and content to be around people, Mulligan likes things done on his terms and will sometimes nip first and ask questions later. He is working on improving this in his foster home, but will definitely need an adopter with lots of patience and one that will pay close attention to his body language when interacting. When not flying down to the couch to check out what his foster family is eating, Mulligan enjoys whistling at the top of his tiny bird lungs and flying around the living room. Because of this, he would not be a good fit for a household intending on clipping their birds. He would, however, love to be in a household where he can be part of daily activities. Whether it be a family who is looking for a bird to hang out with them while they work on homework together, or a retiree who is searching for a companion to watch TV together, Mulligan would be the perfect option!
