Meet Moses the Moluccan, a big bird with an even bigger personality! Although he is estimated to be over forty years old, you would never know based on his boisterous and energetic disposition. He is working on building trust in his foster home after being in his previous home for roughly thirty years. While slower to trust, the reward is well worth the wait as he is affectionate, playful, and will entertain you for hours! He sings, dances, whistles and loves nothing more than to scream at the top of his lungs (like any average cockatoo) and tear up his wooden toys. Moluccans have an extremely loud yell (which his foster describes as reminiscent of a mountain lion) so this will be a consideration in his future home. No apartments, condos, or any other shared living situations would be suitable for this vocal giant! Because Moses has a history of unpredictable behavior, we are looking for experience homes only. Knowledge on owning large birds, as well as a solid understanding of cockatoo body language, will be required. Adoption fee: $650
