Merlot is not a shy bird. Perhaps it's because of her name being a type of liquid confidence, or perhaps because she now has a second lease at life after being cast out as a racing pigeon or possibly a "dove release." Regardless, she's a survivor of these terrible practices and now knows she's on her way to a loving and safe forever home. Her foster mom said the first thing she did when she got into the aviary was kick some of the men out of their coveted spots! We do so love a woman with CONFIDENCE!
