Maui is a 20 something B&G Macaw who is super high energy. She loves to play tug of war, loves her toys, throws things and likes to play catch, and is always trying to do whatever you’re doing.
If you’re interested in adopting Maui, put your application in at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes. We never ship birds, and if you’re out side that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out.
No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you. Don’t send money over the internet for animals. Meet in person or not at all. Stay safe!
