(You can select more then 1) Dogs Tell us if your bird has any behavior issues? Yes, (call her she but not sure) she bonded to my male partner, no one else. But she was ok with us. Recently, she attacks all of us if we touch a bag, water plants, or if one of us is close to my partner. She now attacks him too if he’s doing something she grabs his neck and won’t let go with beak. She most recently attacked him and my two month old granddaughter while he was holding her. She would not let up and kept going for babies head. Why are you needing to rehome your bird? It breaks my heart to think of doing this but in order to keep her she would have to be locked up in her cage much more often and that is not fair to her either. I don't want any of my family hurt or Mango if she grabs onto one of us again and we have to pull her off. She put a gash in my finger when I picked up an empty laundry basket. She flew across the room to do it. Even then I didn't think to rehome her. I moved a bag on my table and she flew into the back of my head. But it was the fear of her attacking my granddaughter that did it. It was frightening for all of us and could have been worse. Provide us with any additional information that may help a candidate show interest in your bird. She was a good bird with a few quirks. We adopted her from someone else who couldn't keep her about four years ago. We upgraded her cage and got a clean visit at vet. She made us laugh and gave her freedom as always being part of our daily lives. Maybe we integrated her into our lives too much if that's possible. But she’s a part of our family and it breaks my heart that we can’t fix this. My only hope is that someone who is better at understanding birds can help her be herself again while maintaining her freedoms.
