Meet Maddie! Maddie is a beautiful 40ish year old, Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. She has gorgeous feathers. Maddie was well loved in her previous home and is looking for a new Dad. She Hates women! She will need a man as her new family. Maddie also does not like other birds and cannot be out safely with other birds. So she is a little bit of a special case but we know we can find her the right fit for her, she absolutely loves men and will bond strongly. If you sound like her dream man and don't have other birds or can let them out separately/safely, Please consider this beautiful girl. Maddie's adoption fee is $1,000.00 If you’re interested in adopting, put your applicationn at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes.  We never ship birds, and if you’re out side that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out. No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you.  Don’t send money over the internet for animals.  Meet in person or not at all.
