Luigi is a "dove release" surviving Homer pigeon who was rescued & then accidentally injured when the family dog grabbed him. He's very lucky to have survived & is healing well (now that he's wearing a custom collar to keep him from biting & scratching his itchy stitches & new feather growth. He's a people bird who expresses himself firmly with sweet head nods, alluring coos & fierce bites & pecks.
