Kuro is a big, strong, handsome King pigeon who was lucky to be fished out of a backyard koi pond. We can tell by the corners of his beak that he has fed babies so most likely he was being used in squab production. We don't know how he got out in the world alone but most likely he was sold from a live poultry market & then misguidedly "released" by someone thinking he could survive on his own.
