Hatch Date: 2020 Kiwi is a beautiful green budgie who is approximately 4 years old. She has been disease tested and is DNA tested female. She has only had one previous owner and is very interested in human interaction. She loves it when you talk to her. She is not hand-tame and is afraid of hands, but with some time and effort, this could change. She is not flighted and has been a caged bird her entire life. According to her previous owner, she is a bit of a clumsy flyer. She sings back and forth with the other birds in her foster home and loves the interaction, so she will do well with other birds in the home, either inside or outside the cage. During her quiet time, she loves her mirror and her millet treats. Kiwi is being fostered in Hillsborough, NJ. You must be within driving distance to the foster home, we do not ship our adoptable birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA. As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved adopters to make the required visits.
