Hello, my name is Joey and I am a Greenwing Macaw. I am a male, but my age is not known. I was living with LOTS of other birds, our owner had become sick and wasn't taking care of us. Eventually, she decided to let us go to rescues. I am quite shy of people. My foster mom uses a towel to take me out of the cage, but once I am out I will let her hold me on her arm. I may have been a breeder in the past, but no one is sure. I need an experienced owner who can work with me to get used to being handled. Diet: I have a great appetite, I eat everything! Pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats. Adoption fee: $1200.
