“Ebony and Ivory live together in perfect harmony." Ivory is a black and white portrait of sophistication. Puttin' on the Ritz in his top hat and "blue bar" coattails, Ivory is a million dollar debonair pigeon. Finding himself lost at a backyard birdfeeder, Ivory decided this was certainly not his "cup of tea” and needed help! Ivory gladly allowed his rescuers to pluck him from the yard and bring him to safety. Eventually landing into the arms of GLPR, Ivory really needs a patient and caring human buddy to help him socialize into his new life. Sassy and spunky make up this rare beauty's persona. Incidentally, Ivory is named after our own Chicago anchor lady for WGN, Erin Ivory. Her lovely videographer and hubby rescued Ivory. Consequently this generated some newsworthy interest in domestic pigeons!
