Iris, Daisy, Marigold, and Buttercup

Hello everyone! We are a bonded set of 4 female budgies. Our previous owner believed us to be around a year old, but that is an approximate age, and our exact age is unknown. We are settling into our foster home and getting comfortable and used to the routines. We are not hand tame, but we have gotten comfortable with our foster mom putting her hand in our cage. We used to panic but we have gotten so much better and just move away if we feel she gets too close. Every day we get some out of cage time. We get let out for several hours a day either on the screened lanai or in our foster mom's office if it’s too cold outside. We also enjoy being in the main living area of the house where we can see all the activity. We are much chattier in our cage when kept in the living room as opposed to being in our foster mom's office. Although we are not hand tame, we do know how to step up on a ladder to be put back in our cage when it’s time. We also climb the ladder to get back in the cage ourselves when needed. We do like our limited seed & millet mix, but also eat Zupreem pellets and love our evening meal of chop warmed with peas and corn. We are good eaters all around. We are VERY chatty and sociable with each other for most of the day! Our foster mom thinks the best thing about us beautiful ladies is listening to us chattering with each other and just watching our activity and interaction. Our foster mom says we are really cute! We all get along really well and are happiest just being left alone as we are currently not interested in human companionship. Our foster mom is hoping in time, we will learn to trust her and interact more with her. We are a beautiful set of easy-going birds.
