Meet Icarus! Brought into STAR as a stray, Icarus is of unknown age, history, or gender, although we do know that he must have been very well loved at some point in his life. This little bird is as sweet as can be and while we are sad that no family came forward to claim this little guy, we are committed to finding him a new home who will cherish him as much as we do. He is very hand tame and is great about stepping up onto hands (although he would rather hang out on your shoulder so that he can be as close as possible to you). So far, he has been a lovebug to everyone he meets and is a versatile bird who would do well in any household. While Icarus himself is quite polite and has not been prone to screaming in his foster home, conures can be quite noisy in general, so they are typically not recommended for apartment living. For a family looking for a beginner-friendly bird or an experienced home seeking a sweet companion, Icarus would be the perfect fit! Adoption fee: $200
