Guiana

Guiana is an approximately 23-year old Female Blue and Gold Macaw. She is tame and handlable but is fairly plucked. She has limited mobility in her wings due to being in too small of a cage in her prior home. Guiana can be shy at first but when she likes someone, she really opens up. Guiana is looking for a quiet home that will give her lots of love and attention. PLEASE NOTE: Adoption applications for any Macaws will not be considered unless the applicant has previous large bird experience. Because large birds are so intelligent and have specific needs to live a happy life, we require their adopters to have personal experience living with/caring for large birds. If applying, please be prepared to detail personal experience. The best way to gain experience is to volunteer! We are always accepting new volunteer applications! Guiana's adoption fee is $900. Once your application is approved, we will set up a meet and greet with you/your family. We are located in Waukesha, WI and do not ship. All adopters must live within a 100 mile radius. We do not adopt birds to households that have the opposite gender birds.
