Dexter came to us in 2016 when his owner was no longer able to care for him. In the time he has been with us, we've found he enjoys singing, dancing, and quality time spent chatting with his favorite people. For outdoor time, he enjoys one of our large flights and spending time with his best friend, a female Greenwing Macaw named Scruffy. We have found the best way to build trust and a positive relationship with him is with music, training, and making foraging toys- he particular enjoys boxes, with noise-making toys hidden in balls of paper for him to shred through and discover!
Dexter is bonded to another macaw named Scruffy and they need to be adopted together.
