Meet Cona, she is an 8 year old Blue Throated macaw who has unfortunately had 8 different homes in her short life. She has not had the chance to know what a true bond feels like or to know the stability of a true friend. She desperately wants connection and someone who makes her feel safe. She prefers men over woman. She is one of the smartest birds we have ever come across. You can see her take in every little interaction. Macaws are not for the first time bird owner. Cona needs someone who will handle her with confidence and knows how to read her body language. She has been around dogs and cats without any concern.
