Cinco

My name is Cinco and although I am not 5 years old yet, I am still a very young boy. I will be 2 years old this spring. I am settling in my foster home and can't wait to meet my forever family. I am on the shy side, so I am timid around hands. My foster mom thinks it is because I have not been worked with much since I am so young. My foster mom has been getting me to eat out of her hands so I can learn that hands are not such a scary thing. I do step up nicely on a stick, so my foster mom is sure that with patience, trust, and some training, I will come around to be hand tamed. I am very vocal and love to sing and chirp all day. I even sing when I am taking a nap! My foster mom says it is the cutest thing she has seen! I enjoy taking my baths in my water bowl, so be prepared for some splishing and splashing! When I was surrendered to FPR, I was on a generic brand of cockatiel seed, but my foster mom switched me to a healthier diet of chop and Zupreem pellets. I LOVE that chop! I am a very good eater.
