Meet Cayenne! Cayenne is a Green Wing macaw that is over 10 years old. We don't know an exact age. Cayenne is an awesome bird with a huge personality, he loves to talk and be sung to and will whisper if you whisper to him ( it's so cute). With slow introduction Cayenne likes people and doesn't seem to have a preference of men or women. He does pluck some in the spring but lets it grow in any other time. Cayenne's favorite things are toys, ALL toys... every single one of them, blueberries and apples. If you’re interested in adopting, put your application in at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes.  We never ship birds, and if you’re out side that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out. No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you.  Don’t send money over the internet for animals.  Meet in person or not at all.
