At The Gabriel Foundation, Burbank spends most of his day with his best bud Pele, an equally magnificent Catalina Macaw. This duo can be found in their 48' by 32' outdoor aviary socializing in a flock environment with several other Blue and Gold Macaws. Because Burbank has spent parts of his life alone in a home as well as living in a social flock environment, he has much to express. Not only is he great with human interaction and interested in learning, he also never forgets what it is to be a large South American Macaw. With a healthy sense of respect, a patient and diligent attitude from a human caregiver, any macaw-loving individual could provide a great home for this big winged character and his bestie, Pele.
