Billy

Hi! My name is Billy! I am a 4-year-old male cockatiel. I am the perfect bird for any household from apartments to houses! My foster mom feeds me veggie chop and pellets every day! I love when it has lots of kale in it. I like to also snack on random pieces of kale weaved through my cage. My favorite nut is shaved almonds, I love to pick them out of my chop and eat them! Above all, my very favorite treat to eat is millet!! I go absolutely nuts for millet! I am a very happy boy and enjoy sitting on my perch and singing, "If your happy and you know it". My foster mom says I have exceptionally good whistling skills. I think so too! I sing and whistle all day long! I love to listen to music whenever its playing. My favorite music is anything by Fred Again. I can bop my head all day long when his music is playing. House music is also another favorite! Sometimes I even like to rub my beak on my cage to make music while I whistle. I think I’m an advanced musician. I can say "Hi" when I want attention from you and appreciate when you say Hi back to me. I like looking out the window when it's raining. I will expand my wings fully and dance to the sound of the rain. I like to spend the most amount of time with my foster mom in the morning. I whistle until she wakes up so I can hang out with her! Sometimes when she leaves the room, I miss her, so I chirp until she is back. It's my secret trick. I hope no one finds out my trick when I am adopted! My favorite spot in my cage is my swing! It's so much fun to hop on it! I do not like hands very much and do not like to step up. I can be nippy towards hands because I think hands are a little scary to me. I'm not a cuddly bird and do not like to receive pets but when I’m on your shoulder I LOVE to give you kisses! My favorite thing to do is sit on your shoulder and have dance parties together.
