Babydoll loves to tell you his name, play with any toy that jingles, and has the potential to be the world’s next up-and-coming opera singer. He’s a male goffins cockatoo in his late teens/early twentys. Babydoll can fly and can be a bit nervous in a new environment, but with the right time and care he’d make an excellent companion. He has shown some aggression towards women, and he absolutely does not like children, so if you’re a family with young kids Babydoll would not be the right fit for you. At Red Feather Farm we’ve had no incidents with attacking women, but he definitely has a preference for men and he would do best living with someone who understood pair bonding so he can be worked with on a regular basis to prevent aggression.
$250 of Babydoll's adoption fee will go towards enrolling his new owner into Level 1 and The Parrot Project with the Animal Behavior Center -this is an excellent resource for you to lean on to work with any new parrot, tackle any behavioral issues that may arise after bringing a new bird home, and to provide education and community to parrot owners.
