Meet Astro! Astro takes time gaining trust in people and would do best in a calmer home. He loves his head scratches and exploring any room he is in. As you can see from the pictures, Astro has a beak deformity which was most likely caused by an injury years ago. Due to this injury, he has no motion in his upper beak and needs regular beak trims. Even with the limited motion in his beak, he is able to eat most foods that the other cockatoos can eat. Astro gets along with other cockatoos and would do best in a home with a cockatoo friend that can help get those pesky pin feathers preened.
