Everyone Meet Anatole! Anatole is a 24 year old Blue Front Amazon. Anatole is a world traveler he came from France with his family. Anatole will need some target training to learn to step up, but loves to talk and sing. He especially enjoys opera. He loves to be out of his cage and hang out in the same room as you on his cage or on a play stand. He will head right back into his cage for you for a sugar snap pea, his absolute favorite! Anatole had an African grey brother but they never bonded and is now looking for his forever friend/family. If you’re interested in adopting Anatole, put your application in at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes.  We never ship birds, and if you’re out side that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out. No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you.  Don’t send money over the internet for animals.  Meet in person or not at all.
