Meet Abbigale! Miss Abigale is an Umbrella Cockatoo. She is 30 years old, her Birthday is September 7 th. You will get Miss Abbigale's attention with a piece of a honey crisp apple, her absolute favorite treat. She seems to prefer women but has loved a few special men in her life especially her Grandpa who she loved to sit with. Abbigale loves music and to be sung to, even if you're not good at it. (Sorry Abby I try) Her favorite toys are wooden block and leather. Abby's adoption fee is $1,000.00 If you’re interested in adopting, put your application at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes.  We never ship birds, and if you’re outside that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out. No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you.  Don’t send money over the internet for animals.  Meet in person or not at all.
