My Story

Annie is almost ready for the next step in her journey. It has been a long road to get her healed. She lost her ear :'( We hoped she would not lose it but the damage was too great. Soon she will leave her friends at the vet clinic and she will travel to Atti's Acres. Her caretakers will miss her a great deal! She is such a sweet girl! We do still need funds for her care. I added new pics and a little video. They made her a mud wallow at the vet. They really do love her there! Poor Annie was removed from the trixie foundation after she was mauled. She had not even been there for 48 full hours. She was not given vet care :'( We rushed Annie to the vet in Lexington, KY immediately after she was removed. She had a convenia injection, capstar for the maggots, and pain medication. Her many wounds were cleaned and medicated. She had a good dinner and a good night's sleep. The next morning we learned she loves fleece blankets. We are unsure of her age right now but she weighs 160lbs. Annie is a very sweet piggy and she did not deserve this. Please be extremely careful who you give animals!!! You can learn more at http://facebook.com/tlcrescuesdogs We need donations for sweet Annie. Through all of it... the moving her from trixie, loading her in my car, driving to Lexington, being unloaded, and then being examined and treated, she never squealed once and she never tried to nip or bite. She knew we were helping her.
