Rogelio is a 4-month-old KuneKune pig. He is currently 1 of 36 pigs in need of homes from an accidental breeding situation within our community. The herd is referenced as the "Elberton Kunes". Our organization is helping vet adopters and make sure pigs are spayed and neutered and up to date on necessary vetting before going to forever homes.
Rogelio currently lives with a group of 18 pigs and is going to need someone very gentle, patient, and kind. If you can give Henry this, he will reward you with the most fulfilling love. Rogelio is currently a wild child. He has been able to evade people interaction in his herd and therefore he is very skittish. He is not mean at all, he is just terrified and will flee from people. Like most pigs, Rogelio will need some time to decompress in a new environment and get to know his new family. He has the potential to be such a loving, affectionate family member, he just needs someone who can help him come out of his shell and trust people.
Pigs are happiest with companion pigs, so it is our preference that Rogelio is adopted with a fellow herd mate or goes to a home where he will have another pig to live with.
