My Story

Introducing the new "kids" to Sanctuary one! These adorable young goats are as cute as they come! These little Nubian's are the product of the "goat soap" industry. The female goats (doe's) are bred over and over so they constantly have milk that breeders can use to produce soap. It is thought that Nubians are one of, if not the most popular breed of goat in the U.S. This is due to several factors, including their friendly and easygoing temperament. They have big personalities and are known for their attention-seeking behavior, which is often considered endearing to owners. There are 5 females and 1 wether, they are 7 months old with the exception of Pandora (pic #2) who is 2 years old. These youngsters have not had much human contact so are still fearful but curious and friendly once they are comfortable with you and their surroundings. *They will only be adopted in pairs or larger groups, $150.00 each. If you have the time and patience for these amazing little goats put in your Adoption Application today: https://sanctuaryone.org/rescue-animals/adopt-us/adoption-application/
