My Story

Hi there! I'm Jerry! I came to the Sanctuary with my brother, Tom, and my mom, Peaches. Tom and I are a little on the smaller side for potbelly pigs because our mom was starved while she was pregnant. We are bonded brothers, so we will need to be adopted together. Sometimes, people confuse me with Tom because we look so much alike! But it's not that hard - I have a a white stripe down my snout, and Tom has a white spot on his forehead. We can be a little shy at first, but with some individualized attention, a solid routine, and some extra love, we will warm right up to you! Oh - and we play a funny trick on the new volunteers! When the volunteers give us treats at the front of our enclosure, we will hurry up around to the back and try to get seconds. It always works with the new ones, but the seasoned volunteers know our shenanigans! We would love to find our own family to share treats with! I'm neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
