Their previous 'family' moved away and abandoned them along with numerous other pets. Luckily these girls broke free of their pen and survived. Animal control caught them after about a month and asked us to take them in. Gladys had an ear removed. Nobody knows what happened to it, but she's perfectly happy without it.
